HISTORY
Although long gone, the old businesses and their employees' working-class spirit still lingers in the architecture of the area and calls upon its rich history. The neighborhood owes its building stock to much of the area's industrial heritage, including the importing and exporting of lumber and other raw materials, manufacturing, printing, textiles, and metalworking.
